Military Analyst and four star General Jack Keane (Ret.) was on Fox Business to discuss the U.S. dropping the ‘Mother of All Bombs’ on an ISIS target in Afghanistan, and Trump’s capability to handle the threat in North Korea.
Gen Keane said, “This is another step in the right direction. What president Trump has done since January 20 is has given his commanders, in areas where we are conducting combat operations, given them the authority to conduct strikes where they see fit. To move forces as they see fit and not to ask the white house for permission.
“The micromanaging of the military is over.”
“I think possibly… This president has got a relationship with the Chinese president that no previous president has had and I believe that at least the rhetoric coming back from president Xi has been this, that he is willing to move in a direction of denuclearizing Korea.”
