The Trump economy is working for low wage workers.
CBS News reported that since 2014 the lowest-earning workers have been seeing a larger percentage wage increase than the highest income earners. In November the bottom 25% of workers saw a 4.5% increase in wages annually while the top 25% only saw a 2.9% increase.
- The 25% lowest-paid Americans enjoyed a 4.5% income boost in November.
- That outpaced a 2.9% gain in earnings for the country’s highest-paid workers.
- Low-wage workers are benefiting from higher minimum wages and corporations that are increasing entry-level pay.
